Back on track

This should/will be the title of every Monday post.  I usually feel like I have a lot to make up for after the weekends.  I like to eat, what can I say?  The McStorey/McFarland holidays never lack delicious food.

Things I saw on my run today:

• A lizard
• A pigeon trying to.... make babies... with another pigeon
• Crazy lady talking to... herself?

Not the most interesting run I've had.  See?

Things I've seen on past runs:

• Spencer Pratt (looked like an 80 year old man)
• Filming of NCIS: Los Angeles
• Nick Nolte
• Loud Runner Guy (think Monica Seles of running)
• Marissa Miller (had to hold my boyfriend back from joining a line of 14 year olds for her autograph)
• $150 (which I then spent on booze at happy hour with Roughlyarunner... I like balance in my life.  Hence the title of this post)
• Ellen Pompeo (teeny tiny in person!)

I love Santa Monica. I need to bring my camera one of these days to capture the views.  But for now, here's a picture of the hopeless tan from my IT band I wear when I run.  Boo.
